🎯 Mission Statement
Research Center for Information Security at Asia University was established with the mission of strengthening Taiwan’s cybersecurity capabilities, safeguarding national and public information security, promoting cybersecurity-related research, and fostering collaboration between the university and industry partners while showcasing the university’s academic strengths.
The Center operates under the core values of "Insight, Vision, and Service", and actively collaborates with cybersecurity-related enterprises, government agencies, academic institutions, and research organizations. By aligning with global trends in the cybersecurity industry and leveraging the university’s academic expertise, the Center is dedicated to becoming a leading force in the field of information security.

The Cybersecurity Research Center was founded in accordance with the university’s organizational regulations. Its purpose is to enhance national information security, protect the public’s digital assets, and advance forward-looking cybersecurity research.
The Center's key missions include:

‧ Cultivating cybersecurity professionals
‧ Providing technical consulting services in cybersecurity
‧ Promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange among academia, industry, and research institutes
‧ Organizing academic events and international conferences related to cybersecurity
The Center is also committed to fostering cooperation and technical exchange with domestic and international academic institutions, organizations, and enterprises.
Hsing-Chung Chen
Director, Research Center for Information Security
A pioneer in the field of cybersecurity, Professor Chen specializes in AI-driven cybersecurity applications, applied cryptography, blockchain security, and quantum-safe supply chain technologies. His research spans information and communication security, AI, and AIoT, with a strong record of academic excellence and industry collaboration. He is the Co-founder of the IEEE Taipei Blockchain Group (Taipei Section) and has served as Program Committee Co-Chair for APNIC44 of the Asia-Pacific Network Information Centre (APNIC). Prof. Hsing-Chung Chen has been listed in the “World Ranking of Top 2% Scientists” by experts at Stanford University (USA) for four consecutive years since 2021.
